The Rocket Run was established in 2024 to endow our Playground Maintenance Fund.

Join us Friday, May 8, 2026 from 2:30-5pm for a fun bubble run, food, games, and more!

To ensure all BRS families can participate, this year's event will be FREE to enter.

But we still have a BIG goal to reach! If 100 families donate $100 each, we will raise TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS toward the future of our playground. 100x100 Dash: Race To $10,000!

The 100x100 Dash was created to raise $10,000 for our Playground Maintenance Fund in the lead-up to the 2025 Rocket Run. When our playground was constructed in 2014, no maintenance plan was put into place. As parents and teachers, it is our goal to keep the Blowing Rock School playground a safe and special place for years to come. We have worked with school and town leaders, as well as the original designer of the playground to create a plan for maintenance that will encompass hundreds of thousands of dollars of work over the next 10-20 years. Our Playground Needs
